In 1998, Joshua wrote RFC 2369 - establishing a standard for unsubscribing from email lists that has been widely adopted. As CEO and founder of email service provider SKYLIST, Joshua developed its flagship email automation solution StormPost, which has emerged as a top-ranked email marketing solution.
Joshua now serves as CTO for leading performance-based marketing company, Datran Media, where he is tasked with architecting innovative and comprehensive solutions for customer management, retention and acquisition.
As a Chair of the ESPC, Joshua is an expert on email authentication, accreditation and reputations services and emerging email issues such as deliverability, database integration and usability. An active participant on the speaking circuit, he has been a keynote speaker or a panelist in such forums as Email Technology Conference, Jupiter Internet Planet, INBOX, OMMA, ad:tech, ZiffDavis webinars, MAAWG, the Affiliate Summit, I-4 Consortium, Inbox/Outbox 2006, and has frequently been asked to comment before the FTC on pending Internet marketing regulatory decisions
