How To Speak
Thank you for your interest in speaking at a ClickZ Event. We receive many more requests than we have spaces to fill, so please be patient with us. Only individuals who are asked to speak will receive a reply.
If you wish to be a speaker on one of our panels, please send an email to speakers (at) events.clickz (dot) com for each of the sessions you would like to speak on. IN OTHER WORDS, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK ON TWO DIFFERENT SESSIONS, SEND A SEPARATE E-MAIL FOR EACH SESSION. Please do not pitch more than two sessions in total, and prioritize the sessions in the e-mails (i.e. "this would be my top choice"; "this would be my second choice").
In the e-mail, include three to five paragraphs describing the topic you wish to cover. A long essay is not necessary, but we do want to gain a succinct flavor for your material, so please include a few specific details. We're particularly interested in real-life, case study stories, or tips that can be supported with actual experiences.
Provide a brief background about yourself, your company, and the type of clients you have or serve, but please do not send more information than required and do not send attachments.
Speakers are typically allotted 10-15 minutes and panels usually include 2-3 speakers. It is very unlikely that you will be asked to speak for a half-hour or hour spot, so do not build a pitch around this.
If accepted, you will receive a pass to the SES event. Travel and accommodation are not covered.
Improving the Odds
Know upfront that, unlike many conferences, no one speaks at our events because they have paid for a spot. You may find value in being an exhibitor or sponsor, but this is not a ticket onto a panel. If you do wish to sponsor or exhibit at an event, please use the contact information below.
Consider pushing your PR firm aside and pitching yourself. After all, if chosen, you will be the one participating on the panel and this will give us a better sense of what you can contribute.
