Steve O’Brien, VP Internet Solutions Marketing, is responsible for driving Unica’s success in the online marketing industry.  Steve has over 20 years of experience in marketing, business development, and sales.  He began his career as a product manager at Digital Equipment Corporation before moving to Sun Microsystems.  There he helped create a presence for Sun in commercial database servers as product manager and market development manager.  As Director of Product Marketing for Red Brick Systems he was responsible for several industry-leading data warehousing products.  Steve then became VP Marketing at Personic Software where he launched that company in the market for enterprise human resources software.  In 1999 he helped form the original management team as VP Sales and Marketing at Fireclick, a Web analytics provider acquired by Digital River, Inc. in 2004.   He was most recently VP Marketing & Business Development for KickApps Corporation, a NY-based Web 2.0 social networking infrastructure provider.

Steve holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a B.S. in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
