David is the Creative Director and a Partner at OgilvyOne in San Francisco.

David moved from London to California to help establish the San Francisco office in early 2005. Prior to his arrival in San Francisco, he was at the OgilvyOne London office for five years where he became their mostly highly awarded Creative for original thinking and execution in digital communications.

OgilvyOne and OgilvyInteractive are consistently recognized as two of the industry’s top global interactive agencies and pioneers of creative leadership across both B-to-C and B-to-B categories.

A passionate advocate for the power of digital communications, David pioneered the world’s first live broadcast that allowed real-time, one-to-one Q&A interaction in a banner advert, he played a pivotal role in creating Ford’s most successful DiTV commercial and was part of a three man team that revolutionized digital advertising for IBM around Wimbledon.

Over his 13 year advertising career between London and San Francisco, David has worked in all forms of media, from TV, radio, press, poster and direct mail to web sites, banners, mobile, PDA and desktop applications. His clients have included American Express, BBC TV Licensing, BarclayCard, NTL, Cable & Wireless, IBM, British Telecom, BSkyB, Yahoo!, Cisco Systems, Barclays Global Investors and the National Geographic Channel to name just a few.

David has received more than 30 national and international awards for creative excellence, including a Gold at Cannes Direct 2005 for a Cancer Research UK acquisition campaign. He has a Higher National Diploma in Design and Advertising from the Newcastle School of Art and Design(UK).

David currently resides in Burlingame just outside San Francisco with his wife Caroline, and children Francesca and Maxwell.
