Gian Lombardi,

Gian Lombardi is a 12 year veteran of the online marketing industry with vast experience in the area of technology solutions available to online marketers. He is currently the Vice President of Sales, North America, for PointRoll, Inc., the leading provider of rich media advertising solutions for online marketers.
Before joining PointRoll, Lombardi served as Director of Sales & Alliances for Maven Networks Inc., a broadband video solutions company. Prior to Maven, he served at DoubleClick in their TechSolutions Division in a variety of sales and sales management roles over the course of his six-year tenure with the firm. Lombardi started at DoubleClick in 1997 as a Business Development Associate as part of the initial launch team on the DART for Publishers ad serving business. In 1998, he went on to help launch DoubleClick’s DART for Advertisers third party ad serving business and served as a Regional Sales Director for the east coast. Later, Lombardi served as the National Sales Director for both the e-mail marketing and online research divisions and left the company as a Vice President of Global Sales in 2003.
Prior to joining DoubleClick, Lombardi worked as a Sales Manager for Firefly Network Inc. (formerly Agents, Inc.) where he was responsible for licensing Firefly’s profile management and collaborative filtering software to web publishers and for evangelizing the proposed Open Profiling Standard within the internet industry. Before Firefly in 1995, Lombardi worked in the New York ad sales offices of Wired Ventures Inc., publisher of Wired Magazine and the HotWired web site. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Colgate University.
