Jeff Meyer,

Jeff Meyer is the senior vice president of interactive sales at Scripps Networks, where he is responsible for growing revenue streams for the company’s websites and emerging technologies such as video on demand and broadband. Scripps Networks is the parent company of HGTV, Food Network, DIY Network, FINE LIVING TV NETWORK, and Great American Country (GAC).

In addition to strategic oversight of a 50-member interactive sales team, Meyer is responsible for tactical planning and the development of customized, one-to-one marketing concepts for Scripps Networks advertisers. Meyer and his team have created innovative advertising solutions for some of the world’s most respected brands. As a result, Scripps Networks has experienced strong growth in its online division and reached profitability goals a year ahead of schedule.

Meyer is a 10-year veteran of Scripps Networks. He joined the sales team of HGTV when the network launched in 1994. The company promoted Meyer in 1998 and he assumed the day-to-day management of the company’s New York sales staff. Meyer also served as vice president of HGTV ad sales for the eastern region before his promotion to senior vice president in 2000.

Meyer’s earlier industry experience includes a sales position at People magazine and tenure with two global ad agencies, Young & Rubicam and McCann-Erickson.

Meyer is a graduate of Davidson College, where he earned a B.A. in economics. He currently resides near San Francisco in Corte Madera, Calif.
